The Oxford Birsöz Initiative is a hub for Central Asian and Turkic Studies in Oxford and the UK. We promote the study of the languages, cultures and history of the region by fostering meaningful connections between the University of Oxford and other UK institutions with international partners by establishing new and exciting projects in the field.
